Select your favorite date and time format and simply right-click to add it to the file name.
Add your own picture or an iCon of your choice to each folder. Best will be to use PNG files with a transparent background to avoid no borders or backgrounds.
In the right-click menu you can choose whether the date and time should be inserted before or after your file.
With TopFolder you can access all your folders and data faster than ever and will significantly improve your workflow. Open TopFolder whenever you want by simply pressing the FN key. Whatever you are working on, TopFolder always stays in the foreground and offers the perfect view of your work in the background. Each folder on your computer can be integrated into TopFolder using drag-and-drop.
Ten of your folders or some of the macOS favorites can be found in the star group. The quick access for your favorites: ctrl + <>
TopFolder helps you keep your desktop under control. You can rename each of your folders, change the colors of the folders and the group name.
Thanks to TopFolder, open programs no longer have to be moved back and forth in order to access external USB devices or the desk.

The T&T folder is on the left in the toolbar. In the "This and That" folder you put everything you want to sort later.
FROM A TO Z IN 26 GROUPS
Our 26 groups are marked with A to Z. Each of these 26 groups contains ten folders, which offer you a total of 260 TopFolders. Each group can be given its own name according to your wishes. To jump to a specific group, hold down ctrl and a letter between A and Z.
FOLDER AS IF BY MAGIC
Drag and drop one or more files over an empty, greyed out folder. A new TopFolder is created automatically.
You can also click on a grayed-out TOPFOLER without a file in your hand.
LET THE PICTURES SPEAK
Icons are available for macOS favorites and Apple iCLoud folders. Use the name Scanner, Scan or Scans for your scan folder and the icon will be displayed. For your URL folder you write www. If your cloud icon is not there yet, send us an email and we will do our best!
EXTERNAL DEVICES AND CLOUD'S
External hard drives or cloud folders such as You can connect Dropbox, iCloud, pCloud or NAS folders in TopFolder. If your hard drive is not connected you will see a cross as nonexistent. As soon as your hard drive or an active internet connection is established, all your folders will be shown again.
PREVIEW WINDOW
In the TopFolder Setup you can set whether the mini preview should be displayed immediately or with a delay.
If you have selected an image, a video or a PDF file in the top folder, you can enlarge this file by clicking on the space button. Another click on the space button closes the preview again.

CLEARVIEW
With Clearview you close your TopFolder with the mouse by slowly touching your TopFolder with the mouse from the right or the left outside. If you move your mouse quickly from the outside in, the top folder remains open.
PIN A GROUP
Do you need a group at a fixed location? No problem. To pin this group of favorites, click on the star on the right or left.
Do you need one of the 26 other groups? That is also no problem. Click on one of the letters in the desired group and the pin holds this group.
